Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Company commenced the nomination process for its board of directors for the sixth term.

The company is seeking candidates for eight seats on the board for a session scheduled to run for four years, starting on 8 January 2027 and concluding on 7 January 2031.

The nomination period opened on 6 August 2026 and is scheduled to close on 5 September 2026. Interested applicants must submit their candidacy requests to the company’s headquarters in Jeddah or via the designated electronic mail address.

According to the disclosure, candidates must satisfy several regulatory requirements, including obtaining a non-objection letter from the Insurance Authority.

Nominees are prohibited from holding board positions in more than five listed joint-stock companies simultaneously. Specific independence criteria apply, such as not owning 5% or more of the company's shares. Furthermore, candidates must be at least 25 years of age at the start of the term.

The final selection of members will take place during a General Assembly meeting, which will be scheduled following the receipt of necessary approvals from the relevant authorities.

In the first half (H1) of 2026, the group turned to net losses after Zakat valued at SAR 25.01 million, compared to net profit of SAR 682,000 in the same period last year.
